From where it comes and where it goes
I blinked in amazement and sheer surprise
Ever it pours magnificent in power and shower
The mellowing waterfalls coming from nowhere
Behind the falls the mountains so majestic
Rocky and lofty it remains ever wrecked
Between the peaks the blazing sun glows
The world is too small to behold his racy rays
Far above there see the milky wavy sky
Vast and abounding; boundaries never drawn
Beneath the mountain, the meadow so green
No Gardner to nurture or trimmer to level
Besides the meadows trees are in array
Beautified with flowers and ripened fruits
In between flows the river graceful and rhythmic
Giggling when tickled by the hidden rocks
The chilly breezy wind flavouring the air
The birds’ tune soothing the mind and mood
Hours I wish to walk through the curvy grassy path
Shadowed with trees and scented with flowers
For everything we human find some replica
A replacement to suit our convenience
We go in search of retreats to relax and rest
While the abundance of nature lies in waste
Never again ask or argue about God’s existence
Just stop and feel the presence of the Great Creator
He has breathed life and energy in plenty in nature
For we Humans, his masterpiece to dwell and enjoy
