Blunt faces with masks torn off
Lagging frail bodies tossed by nagging minds
Roaming in streets or bundled in corners
Vagabonds with no binding bounds to vex
Baffled humans either waffling or brooding
Cursed are they with extreme lunacy
Treated as aliens by people claiming sanity
Chained as animals to protect our vanity
Punished often for their impetuous immaturity
Mocked and warned for their untimely infancy
Destined dwellers of a realm of frivolous fancy
We need hearts to understand their fretful frenzy
Senseless but still alive with sensuous instincts
Fearless with no thoughts of imminent future
Careless as kids hankering for caring hearts
Aimless with withered whims and fancies
Cheerless with ever dampening depression
Pathless they are strolling in utter darkness
Immune we remain with hearts hardened
Unknown fears often creating blockade
Alone are they with no hands to uphold
Withdrawn are they with emotions withheld
Forgone are they forever never to be propelled?
Mistuned chords never to be harmonized?
Madness exists even in you and me
Concealed though victimized we remain
In the hasty pursuit for pleasures and treasures
Crazy we turn once obsessed by pomp and power
Remember madness is a possessed state of mind
Beware at any time you too can get conjured!
