Thousands I saw at a glance
But not dancing daffodils
They were not in an array
Or any milky bay around
They were muddy and rotten
Won’t even last a wind
Crying kids and sickly oldies
Tiny humans, bony and frail
All clustered, eyeing at sky
Any special star shoots there?
Or any goddess passes by?
Dashed a helicopter, still so high
Packets of food poured from sky
People in haste jumping so high
Even kids were trodden
Women being pulled off
They cannot be blamed
Hunger makes anyone blind
Thousands I saw at a glance
Humans crying and ailing
Sons killed and daughters lost
Spouses missing and illness spreading
Havoc everywhere, mind bleeds
Why men fight, suffer and die?
Peace be our sword to fight the wrath
Perseverance should be our shield
Revolution we need, but not bloodshed
Renovation should start form our mind
Keep your heart devoid of hatred, and
Oiled with love and compassion
